About Amanda Porter

With over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field, I have honed my skills as a Program Director who fosters treatment excellence and innovation. My focus is on developing cutting-edge curricula and programs that prepare teens and young adults suffering from substance abuse and/or mental health disorders for the challenges of the modern world. I am adept at navigating the complexities of residential and inpatient treatment centers to build collaboration and drive change. My initiatives have consistently led to increased client census and retention, as well as enhanced institutional reputation. Leadership for me is about inspiring a shared vision and empowering clinicians and staff to achieve their best work. I am committed to creating an environment where diverse ideas thrive and where continuous improvement is the norm. I am also deeply invested in compliance and policy initiatives. I enjoy mentoring the next generation of therapists and behavioral health staff and empowering them to understand the inner workings of successful programs. By participating in projects and research on institutional growth and development, I contribute to the ongoing dialogue on how to best evolve residential treatment centers to meet future client needs.
