As the presenter and founder of Break the Mold-Dyslexia Awareness, I aim to empower dyslexic students, parents, and educators with specific tools and programs to identify student needs, intervene with an instructional match, and inspire confidence at all levels for optimum growth. With my Administration Credential from Fresno Pacific University and my BS in Special Education from USU-Eastern, I have the academic and professional background to support my mission. As a professional with dyslexia (diagnosed at age 35) and mother to two children diagnosed, I deftly navigate each perspective and problem of student, teacher, and administrator on the IEP team.
