About Amanda Rickett

Determined student currently pursuing her Master's in Business Administration. I graduated in 2021 with a BS in Criminal Justice and BS in National Security with a minor in Arabic with the desire to protect and ensure justice for all people. The University of New Haven has prepared me with the necessary education, along with the communication and investigative skills needed to succeed in both the criminal justice and business fields. Prior to and throughout college, I worked as a nanny to children. In order to receive these nanny jobs it was highly necessary to be dependable, so I possess the skill of managing not only children but time and schedules as well. The responsibilities that came along with nannying increased my growth in communication, analytical, leadership, and management skills. These skills I learned early on helped me in my past roles as an Academic Peer Mentor to the commuter population at the University of New Haven, as well as in my current role as an Executive Administrative Assistant for a Psychiatrist Center.
