I currently serve as the Director of the Community College Field Biology Alliance, an educationorganization I co-founded that develops programming to facilitate access to field research opportunitiesfor underserved populations. I love brining an evidence based, student centered pedagogy to the outdoors!I am a PhD Candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I am a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and received the UCLA Life Sciences Excellence Award in Educational Innovation Excellence for a PhD Candidate.
