About Amanda Rose

I have worked at Apple Vacations for 5 years. I started in the entry position of reservations sales agent taking inbound sales and service calls for direct consumers and travel agents. After 6 months, I was promoted to the support department where I took on additional responsibilities including researching the history of escalated issues and finding resolutions for them, correcting errors in the booking engine back system, and light supervisory duties on nights and weekends. Two years later, I was promoted into the newly formed workforce management department as an analyst. My primary duties include generating and implementing shift bidding, evaluating vacation requests against expected staffing, collaborating with my counterparts at sister brands for joint projects and tracking daily attendance and call center activities. I also manage small, independent, ad-hoc projects and reports as needed and put together classroom training for educating employees on the workforce management tools used at our business.
