About Amanda Rose

I believe that my inspiration, creativity, dedication and enthusiasm has led me to where I am today. Working independently and also as part of a collaborative team I always make sure to keep timelines and meet goals productively and efficiently. As part of the team I often pull together final reports. At Western New England University as a Physics Lab Grader, I am responsible for grading Physics student’s lab reports as well as organizing and reporting grades to the professor. Additionally, I am an Engineering Lab Monitor.Throughout high school I participated in Agawam High School’s FIRST Robotics Team 839 Rosie Robotics. As Drivetrain Engineer I was a major contributor in designing our robot for annual FIRST competitions. As part of this team my experience includes designing drivetrain; creating 3-D models on Creo 2.0; developing accurate prints for manufacturers; assembling drivetrain and testing for functionality and solid modeling. I believe that as part of the FIRST team I learned skills that cannot be learned in the classroom.Dean's List:2016, 2015, 2014 Spring semesters.
