About Amanda Royer

I am a young professional currently seeking a challenging opportunity where I will be able to grow professionally and as an individual while utilizing my many skills and experiences. Growing up in Maine, I spent most of my young life on the soccer field. My final years of high school I began working part-time at Berry Talbot Royer as an administrative assistant. I graduated from Cheverus High School and went on to studied nursing for 2 years at Sacred Heart University in CT until I realized that nursing was not my passion. I left and returned to Maine where I studied at the University of Southern Maine while working as an Administrator at Berry Talbot Royer. After a year in Maine, I moved across the country to California with my mother to assist with the care of my Grandmother who has Alzheimer's. While in CA I worked in both the service and retail industries. After almost two years in CA I returned to Maine, where I worked at Berry Talbot Royer as both marketing account manager and administrative associate. I then packed up and moved back to CA, however this time up north where I found two jobs I can say I am truly passionate about, working with children with disabilities and walking dogs! My work background includes several years of administrative experience at an accounting firm as well as customer service experience in both the retail and restaurant industries. I am enthusiastic about new challenges and am eager to bring my positive energy to my work environment. I am self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as a collaborative team member. I always maintain a positive attitude and work well in stressful environments.
