As a Billing Specialist at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance, I contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of medical claims and payments. I apply my knowledge and skills in medical coding, billing software, and insurance regulations to ensure compliance and quality. I also collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies. I am pursuing my MBA at UTRGV, where I am expanding my business acumen and management skills, while building on my biomedical science background. I have a diverse and broad experience in education, research, health care, and volunteerism, which has shaped my values and goals. I have worked with Global Brigades to provide medical attention to underserved communities in Nicaragua, and conducted research on various topics, such as trichomonas vaginalis, social behaviors, and neuroscience, with renowned professors and mentors. I am passionate about learning, serving, and growing as a professional and as a person.
