I recently received my B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering with a minor in Chemistry at Colorado State University. I hope to get involved with research and development in alternative energy sources or environmental testing. I have a strong interest in chemistry and biomanufacturing and plan to further my knowledge of these fields in graduate school. I am looking for a position where I can work with a diverse team to develop innovative solutions. I am currently working as a research associate studying rewired anaerobic digestion to optimize microbial consortium for volatile fatty acid production. In this position, I have gained ample experience with techniques of gas chromatography, 16S DNA analysis, and bioreactor design. I am a motivated engineer with proficient experience modelling chemical processes in MATLAB, Microsoft Xcel, Python, Raspberry Pi, and SuperPro. I am trained for BioSafety Levels I & II and have received multiple safety certifications through SAChE courses.
