About Amanda Schoen

My background includes serving as a Inventory and Merchandising manager within a retail environment. The past 11 years, I held the role of District Merchandising Mentor for Petco. Some of my responsibilities included full store supply ordering and inventory counts throughout the store, pricing, working weekly trucks, handling customer merchandise returns, flagging damaged merchandise for shipment back to vendors, handling customer complaints in a customer is always right manner, managing and training a team to excel in the company, experience with Microsoft word. I was also the go to person for 17 stores in my district and others in the company for any inventory and merchandising questions they incurred. I was available for light travel to these stores which I helped when I was needed. I have stepped up to fully manage other stores while the GM was on leave or was let go. I have prepped and completed many physical inventories and have shown great results throughout the years, beating prior year shrink percentages. Attention to detail is extremely important to me. I have received much praise for my planogram and merchandising skills from higher management. I like to show my dedication and strong work ethic to the company I work for by exceeding goals given and completing all tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
