About Amanda Schuch

With over 14 years in education as a classroom teacher and curriculum leader, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside students, staff, and families to create learning environments where everyone feels they belong. These experiences have shaped my belief that education is most powerful when it’s grounded in relationships, driven by curiosity, and guided by a deep respect for every learner. As a teacher and leader, I strive to create spaces where people feel safe to contribute, question, and take risks—because that’s where real growth happens. Leadership, to me, is about listening, building trust, and helping others reconnect with their sense of purpose. I’m passionate about fostering a culture where collaboration is the norm, expectations are co-constructed, and everyone feels a sense of ownership in the journey we’re on together. I care deeply about making learning meaningful. That means designing experiences that engage, challenge, and respond to students as whole people—not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. I’m energised by the messiness of inquiry, the joy of discovery, and the magic that happens when students see themselves as capable, creative contributors to their world. Education, to me, is about more than outcomes. It’s about belonging, growth, and a shared belief that every child has something valuable to offer.
