About Amanda Scott

I have over 20 years of management experience in the post-acute care setting. As an Area Manager, I supervised 100+ managers and clinicians in multiple states. The average revenue overseen was $17million annually. I was responsible for developing systems for staff education, compliance with state and federal regulations, case management, interdisciplinary collaboration, quality assurance/process improvement, and fiscal management. I have over 8 years of full time academic experience. Currently, I am the manager of the institute of learning for OSF Healthcare. I have been an Occupational Therapist since and earned my Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2013 in addition to having the recognition of Roster of Fellows (FAOTA) and Geriatrics Board Certification (BCG) through AOTA, Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Trainer (CADDCT-CDP), Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT). I am also the Productive Aging Special Interest Section Committee Chair through the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
