About Amanda Sharman

Having a lasting career within a facility that challenges me every day is very important. I am interested in continuing education within my profession therefor growth opportunities are preferred. Excellent patient care and compassion is, without a doubt, most important to me. I have an Associate of Science from an accredited DMS program in Houston, TX. I'm RDMS, ABD, RVT and currently preparing for breast and obgyn. My goal is to obtain as many credentials possible within my field; being educated and prepared for any situation is important to me as a healthcare provider. Skilled in accurately obtaining and interpreting medical information to determine the health status and needs of my patient and my radiologist. Additionally, I possess excellent critical thinking and communication skills, which help me to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Spending quality time with patients, allowing them to feel comfortable and appreciated is as important as the diagnostic care I provide. I thrive in high energy, stressful situations and crave to learn something new, even if it's outside my scope of practice. In total, I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional service to my patients and employer.
