About Amanda Shuga

For almost two decades my focus has been improvement and growth, systematic and individual. Through education, training, and experience I have cultivated a skillset that enables me to better assist those that I work with each day. Improving the classroom through feedback, coaching, and support results in high levels of student learning across the board. Improving other teachers and administrators as a teacher leader and state-level trainer, professional development provider, and online learning facilitator impacts the system in which I work and the quality of the education that is provided to students who walk the halls each day. Through these experiences I’ve learned to support and challenge others while analyzing effectiveness and establishing an action plan and benchmarks for continued growth and development. My skills range from technological implementation and certification to professional development design and training experience for varied stakeholder groups. Additional skills include project planning and management, curriculum design, observation and evaluation skills, the ability to conduct fierce conversations and work through issues to result in growth or action toward implementation of best practices.
