I have spent the last 20 years as a technical writer documenting software applications and business processes, and co-authoring software and skills training. Most recently, I have created online documentation repositories in Confluence and ZenDesk that are accessible within the applications I was documenting. My strengths include: • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate communication between technical and less-technical audiences • Efficient and organized working style that focuses on planning for and coordinating skills and schedules I believe that excellence is in the details; standardization and style guides create a platform for consistent and accurate policies and procedures. Easy access to clear and concise information in a format that makes sense to the audience is key to developing successful employees. My desire to teach people how to succeed at their job separates me from other writers because I know I’ve been successful when others are successful.
