About Amanda Spindler

I have worked at Cummins, Inc. for 11 years, most of those within the Enterprise Data Management team working on transformational projects that deal with Master Data. I’ve worked with Product data for 6 years, and Customer data for 4 years. Responsibilities in this role include working with stakeholders from different business units to analyze their data to see what state it is in. I run their data through an automated tool that helps to cleanse, correct and complete the data set, based on data quality rules set by the stakeholders. I work with them to get their data quality higher, so they are able to put it into their systems to make better and quicker decisions with a cleaner data set. A lot of work in this role has, also, included merging or removing Customer duplicates within the company.I have, also, been given some Project Managment projects to get an understanding of the process. I have closed out 2 projects from Charter phase to Go-Live. I have enjoyed learning the skills of Project Management and hope to further my education in this field. Educationally I have a MS in Marketing from University of Cincinnati, and a BA in Business Administration from Bellarmine University.
