About Amanda Todd

Amanda Todd is a hard-working, friendly, and spirited woman. During her time at BlackRock, she quickly rose from Receptionist to Facilities Coordinator, and from Facilities Coordinator to Global Space & Occupancy Management. As a Global Space & Occupancy Management professional, Amanda considers creating an organized and efficient office space priority number one. Making workflow easier and more enjoyable for everyone using the office space is a passion for her. Working closely with Reception, Facilities Management, IT, Executive and Administrative Assistants, and external vendors, Amanda has gained a wide range of perspectives and experiences. She is passionate about the disabilities community, diversity and inclusion, as well as conservation and management of our natural environment. Down syndrome and ADHD are a big part of her home life. While being able to work from home during the Covid-19 pandemic, Amanda expanded her skills in AutoCAD and joined a global team tasked with organizing our offices all over the world into teams and spaces that could safely return to the office. Today that team continues to strive to build global space management standards for BlackRock, and they are vetting integration software for BlackRock's modern space management needs in offices all over the world. Before her time at BlackRock Amanda was the Facilities Coordinator for Cequint. Working with the Executive Assistants, Amanda brought her customer service and organization skills to the support role of Facilities Coordinator. She managed the daily responsibilities of running an efficient Front Desk, as well as keeping the facility in top operational mode. During her career at the University of Colorado, she made the Dean’s List while also producing shows at the Fiske Planetarium in Boulder. Working with Dr. John Stocke of the Astronomy Department, Amanda brought her Anthropological experience to the building of two complete shows for the planetarium. She is passionate about work that helps us understand our world and improve the lives and work of those around us.
