Background
About Amanda Trimble
Currently, I am a Video Coordinator in ICG 669, based in Calgary, Alberta. My latest credits are: The Last of Us (S1)(HBO), Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (S1 S2)(APPLE), Prey (HULU), and Let Him Go. BIO I graduated with an Applied Degree in Motion Picture Arts Production from Red Deer College, now Red Deer Polytechnic, helping me make my move into the Film industry of Alberta. I started in ICG 669 as a Camera Trainee, becoming a member in 2015 as a 2nd AC, working on such projects as Fargo and The Detour. Since 2017 I have worked primarily as a Video Assist on projects like Alpha, SEE, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. In 2019 I was the Vice President of the Prairies in ICG 669, becoming the President in 2020 until 2022. At that time I was in charge of a board of 19 members, over members in Western Canada, and the face of the union in every council meeting and convention. I made the move to being a Video Coordinator in ICG 669, based in Calgary, Alberta, full time in 2020 working on projects such as Fraggle Rock, Prey, and The Last of Us. I have worked in many different and unique situations, all of which have helped me develop several business skills. I am well-versed and have exceptional skills in Macs and PCs, including Microsoft Office programs and editing software. My previous experience as a Service Writer as well as a Warranty Clerk and Appointment Coordinator allowed my skill set to flow freely as I proofread and submitted reports and finalized claims. Customer service and customer relations is an additional skill set. I love a challenge and learning something new. Being a Theatre technician and a crew member in the camera department on TV/film sets, organizational and time management skills were required to ensure the completeness of each task. My strengths would include; troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, public relations, detail-oriented, and resourcefulness. I am also very safety oriented as well as experienced in working with diverse client groups. I feel my previous experiences would make me an asset to any team- Technical Skills and Competencies - Q-Take System Playback I Q-Take Local and Remote Stream I Rear Screen Projection I Raptor System Playback - Final Cut Studio 7 - Adobe Lightroom Classic 2023 - Adobe Photoshop CC 2023 - Microsoft Office Programs: Word | Outlook | PowerPoint | Excel - Social Media: Instagram | LinkedIn | Facebook | Twitter
