About Amanda Trosper

Amanda grew up in Southern California, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Southern California Annenberg School of Journalism with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies. After completing her undergraduate studies, Amanda moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend Lewis & Clark Northwestern School of Law. During law school, Amanda clerked with the Oregon Justice Resource Center and participated in the Mock Trial Program, earning the award of Best Oral Advocate. After graduating from Lewis & Clark Law School, Amanda worked with the Multnomah County Victim Assistance Program, as well as Legal Aid Services of Oregon’s Domestic Violence Project, representing domestic violence and stalking survivors in contested protective order hearings. In May 2017, Amanda received the Multnomah Bar Association’s Michael E. Haglund Award in recognition of her work representing domestic violence survivors. Also in 2017, Amanda began practicing Social Security Disability law. Over the following five years, Amanda represented claimants in over federal disability hearings, strengthening both her client-focused advocacy and ability to help guide clients through the often labyrinth-like complexities of administrative programs. In 2023, Amanda utilized her combined legal medical background to pivot to practicing workers’ compensation insurance defense, with a focus on ensuring that both employers and insurers feel confident and supported navigating all stages of the workers' compensation process.
