Hello my name is Amanda Vallejo I go by Mandy 1. As of February 2017, I received my Associates Degree of Science in Business Administration and plan on going back to school for my Bachelors in Marketing. I went back to school when I was 25, i spent 2½ years at cosmetology school and at that point in time I had been out of school for 7 years and wanted to see if I could still with stand school. After cosmetology school, I took a year off to decide what I wanted to do, that is when I realized I wanted to go to school for business administration and marketing. I have worked a Walmart for 16 years. I started as a sales associate and then became a pharmacy technician for 8 years, and then in November 2016 a position opened for the accounting office/claims and Receiving department, in May of 2018 I had received a promotion as a department manager for toys, I was the department manager in that area for a year and three months, then in August 2019 I became a department Manager for womens intaments and girls apparel. I have 16 years of customer service experience and a total of 3 years with my associates degree included of accounting experience. With the pharmacy experience I have acquired communicating with doctor offices, insurance companies, and practicing HIPPAA privacy and confidentiality. I always give my 110% in anything and everything I do. I don’t give up easily especially when it is something I am passionate about. But at the same time, I am one who admits when I am wrong and knows that not everyone is perfect. But at the same time if you are willing to give someone the chance then you could be amazed by what one can achieve with a little trust and belief in someone.
