About Amanda Wilson Teeters
I have worked with disabled individuals in some capacity since Beginning with Orange Grove Center, I worked with adults and teens alike, including a one on one client work program. Beginning in 2015 I began learning and working full time as a special needs teaching assistant in pre-k for Hamilton County. Under an amazing mentor, I learned both the practical and educational side of teaching those with mental and physical challenges as well as how to implement inclusion between these students and their typically developing peers. In 2018, I began the process of completing my bachelor's degree in psychology, where I learned I could marry my passion for psychology with my love and experience with intellectually disabled individuals by practicing ABA therapy. I intend to become a board certified behavior analyst as soon as possible but know I am more than qualified at this point to begin the process of becoming a Registered behavior technician.
