Earned Bachelor of Science Degree Civil Engineering and an Executive Master of Business Administration from University of San Francisco School of Management. A licensed Professional Civil Engineer from California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists-USA. Globally certified as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, an Envision Sustainability Professional from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate from U.S. Green Building Council, with knowledge in Infrastructure Sustainability, Green Building principles and rating system to achieve sustainability goals. Awarded "2014 NAPW Woman of the Year" from National Association of Professional Women-USA. Certified as a Consultant Engineer (CE) in Design and Supervision in the field of Civil Engineering from the Engineers Chartering Council - Kuwait Society of Engineers and registered in Kuwait Municipality with authorized signature on Construction Civil and Structural Design. Has over 25 years of experience in the private and public sectors, held leadership positions in management, civil and structural department, with projects ranging from Infrastructure projects in Napa, Solano, San Mateo and SF, San Francisco’s Sierra Point Building, to the Mega Kuwait University City, Kuwait Bayan Palace and Oman Royal Opera House. Assisted the Sustainability Program and applied the ISI Envision tool on the SM 101 Managed Lanes Project in US, which won the Envision Silver award in May 2021 and showcased the successful partnership with local transportation agencies, consultants, and CMGC to meet SB1 delivery commitments and sustainability goals. Collaborated with Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA), Napa County and Napa cities officials on varies transportation projects. Previously responsible for Supervising /Leading Civil & Structural Department at SSH international. Roles include Managing staff performance effectively, Direct department budget, Establish overall Structural concepts & major design decisions, Provide Head Office support to projects under construction stage, Coordinate production with functional units against technical guidance, standards and procedures, Assist Business Development and prepare technical write ups, QA/QC procedures, Attending workshops with international consultants and clients representatives in UK, Dubai and Oman.
