I am Amanuel Negalign, a passionate Lecturer and Clinical Psychology Professional Specialist from Ethiopia. With about 7 years of experience in Psychology, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and lead fulfilling lives. My journey began when I witnessed the profound impact of therapy on individuals facing mental health challenges. This sparked my interest in psychology and set me on the path to becoming a clinical psychologist. Specializing in clinical psychology, I am recognized for my expertise in the field. Certified with the UN, WHO, Stanford University, and California University training. I have collaborated with esteemed organizations like the Aha Psychology Service and conducted research on mental health interventions. I take pride in supervising and consulting on needs assessments and research for Mercy Corps and Master Card Foundation projects, providing free mental health services to underserved populations. Witnessing the positive impact on their lives has been incredibly rewarding. Beyond my work, I find inspiration and balance in practicing mindfulness. I believe in empathy, resilience, and self-compassion, striving to make a positive impact on mental well-being. Continuing to evolve and embrace new challenges, I am committed to expanding mental health awareness and reducing stigma.
