Amar Thing who is an agriculture graduate and has received MSc in Regional and Rural Development Planning from AIT, Thailand (2009) has over 15 years of experience managing agriculture and rural development projects. Agribusiness and value chain upgrading, micro enterprise creation and development, farmer entrepreneurship, capacity building, projects monitoring and evaluation are some of the key areas where he has successfully demonstrated his skills and knowledge. Mr. Thing has sound knowledge on market systems development. He has conducted value chain studies, identified market opportunities and has designed and implemented market development interventions. Mr. Thing is a superb in projects management and has extensive track record of successes in establishing partnership with government, non-government and private sector organizations, value chain actors, investors, financial service providers and knowledge institutions. He is a challenge bearer, result insurer, team builder and well organized person. He has experience of working with multi-stakeholders and multidisciplinary team of national and international experts.
