About Amara Mikesell

I am a Training Specialist at Global Lending Services. I facilitate engaging classes based around adult learning theory. I update and build learning material with various programs. I build and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure thorough development of learners. I worked for Quiktrip for six years. In these short years, I have worked part-time and full-time. I was a Clerk who provided excellent customer service to maintain smooth customer relations and store operations. I handled POS systems that include cash, credit and debit cards, and company-specific gas cards. I was a full-time Clerk Trainer. I ensured new hires were trained on company policies and tasks. I completed sensitive data forms and kept an internal sense of confidentiality. Within those full-time years, I completed a "Leadership Skill School" Certification and a "Train the Trainer" certification. I handled kitchen operations and was a Kitchen Liaison. I provided a communication network between the store operations and the sales management team. Also, I collaborated with fellow coworkers to recommend solutions to improve kitchen operations. In my personal life, I am interested in podcasts, reading, working out, and any creative outlet. Professionally, I am most interested in working in Human Resource and Management. I am open to look into more outlets as the interests arise!
