About Amarildo Paulo

An early interest in the environments we build, combined with my love of problem-solving made engineering an easy career choice. And having the opportunity to serve others by creating structures that improve their lives has made it a passion too. I joined Lithon straight after graduating from the University of Cape Town with a BSc (Civil Engineering). Throughout my years here, I’ve been given amazing opportunities to develop my knowledge and skills. In learning from those around me, in an environment that celebrates my strengths, I’ve expanded my expertise in project and contract management, construction supervision, quality assurance and client liaison. And as Branch Manager at Swakopmund, then Ongwediva and Oshakati, I’ve been privileged to grow my leadership skills and to pay forward all the teaching and mentorship I, myself, received. In my downtime, I love watching anime and playing the drums or video games. I speak English, Portuguese, German and a bit of French and Afrikaans.
