About Amaury Arnould

Currently an attorney-at-law in the Employment Law Department of Clays & Engels Law Firm, I assist Belgian and international clients with regards to all facets of Employment Law and Data Protection. Additionally, I support clients in judicial proceedings (both collective and individual conflicts). I am a Data Protection Officer and a course lecturer in Employment Law at the Brussels Bar. I have worked from 2018 to 2025 as a teaching assistant in Employment Law at Université Saint-Louis, where I also held the position of course lecturer between 2022 and 2025. Furthermore, I was a member of the CEPRI (Brussels) at the same period, and secretary of the CEPRI from 2023 to 2025. I am particularly interested in Employment law, Human Rights, Data Protection, International law, and European law. From October 2016 to March 2017, I was assigned to an important company within the banking industry to provide support to the HR team and handle daily HR issues and concerns. I was again assigned to a similar task from June 2019 to August 2019 for an important company within the transport industry. I started at the Brussels bar in 2014 as a junior associate in the Regulatory Practice Group of the law firm Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick. There, I covered a broad range of legal matters in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Environment Law, and Energy Law. In 2014, I pursued a two-month traineeship at Amnesty International, for their “Campaigns” office. Moreover, I served as a Belgian Youth Ambassador for the non-governmental organization “ONE”, for the European elections at the EU Parliament that same year. In 2011 and 2012, I worked as a Summer Trainee for Phillippe & Partners Law Firm. I was Editor-in-chief of the Collège Saint-Michel Alumni Magazine, and administrator of the Collège Saint-Michel Organizing Authority, and Alumni Association. I am a former student of Boston University, University of Geneva, University Panthéon-Assas Paris II, University of Louvain, and Saint-Louis University.
