Professional Bio I received my Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sport Science in 1997; later I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in I earned both degrees attending the University of Utah. I am active in the professional organizations of which I have membership. I have written articles for "Bariatrics Today" and "Obesity Help" regarding follow-up care after bariatric surgery. I have achieved additional national certifications including Health and Fitness Instructor (ACSM), Neonatal Resuscitation (AHA), International Certified Childbirth Educator (ICEA), and Bariatric Nursing (ASMBS). I obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from the University of Utah in 2012. I am board certified and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I am committed to providing a high level of care for patients though empathy and respect. I accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently; I am dependable. I am flexible and adapt to most workplace conditions and co-workers. My colleagues define me as a disciplined, hard worker, who uses creative resources to solve problems.
