About Amber Benson
My name is Amber Benson and I am an eager and passionate person when it comes to the subjects I care about most about. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Women's Studies. I also have 5 years of experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities. Currently, I plan to work for 2-3 years while I prepare to head to Australia for graduate school. While in Australia I will obtain my Masters of Sexology. Upon returning to Canada I plan to work, in areas such as education or counselling, with people with intellectual disabilities who are interested in furthering their understanding of or relationship with sexuality. I have a very sex-positive perspective and am a strong advocate for comprehensive sex education. I am always searching for ways to further my own experience in this area as well as do what I can to contribute to our overall society building a healthier relationship with sexuality.
