I am a dedicated Human Services professional and student with hands-on experience in substance use disorder treatment, case management support, and utilization review. Currently pursuing my degree in Human Services, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families through compassionate, strengths-based, and ethically grounded care.Through my academic training and practicum experience, I have developed skills in client advocacy, biopsychosocial assessment, documentation, group facilitation, and collaboration within multidisciplinary treatment teams. I bring a strong understanding of addiction, recovery-oriented systems of care, and the importance of meeting individuals where they are while promoting dignity, empowerment, and long-term stability.My personal recovery journey has further shaped my professional values, enhancing my empathy, self-awareness, and ability to connect meaningfully with clients. I am especially passionate about substance use treatment, mental health support, and social justice within healthcare and community-based systems.I am actively preparing to transfer into a bachelor’s-level social work or human services program, with long-term goals of advancing into clinical and leadership roles where I can continue advocating for accessible, person-centered care.
