I have a Masters in Social Work and a Bachelors in Sociology. My approach to therapy is client-centered, aiming to provide a safe and supportive environment for my clientale. I am adaptable to my therapeutic approach, tailoring it to meet the specific needs of each client using evidence-based practices that focus on healing, acceptance, and empowerment.I have experience working with clients of all ages and history including trauma and PTSD, Self-image, Victims of sexual abuse, depression, body dysphoria, mood and anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and ADHD. My expertise includes various therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Feminist and Family therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy and more. I am also skilled in crisis intervention and Illness Management and Recovery for adults with severe mental illness. I enjoy working with children and adolescents as well and have experience in providing emotional skills training and psychotherapy for children with severe emotional disturbances. I emphasize the uniqueness of each client and strive to collaborate with them in developing individualized treatment plans that best suit their specific needs and goals. I am passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and connecting members with community resources.
