About Amber Cohen

Amber is a researcher at the Gallipoli Medical Research Institute, working to enhance community mental health through evidence-based supports. Amber holds the title of Adjunct Fellow with the University of Queensland Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences in recognition of her ongoing contribution to high-impact, translational research. As a sessional academic at the ACAP University College, Amber has delivered undergraduate- and postgraduate-level tutorial classes related to neuroscience; biological psychology; cognition; neurological conditions and neurodiversity; and experimental lab research. Amber has also gained extensive teaching and mentorship experience as a private tutor for secondary and upper-primary students. Amber is pursuing a career in clinical psychology with hopes of delivering personalised mental health care to clients while continuing to conduct impactful research for the Australian community.
