About Amber Colclasure

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, I have over 20 years’ experience in the accounting field as well as cross functional collaboration. I am a strategic thinker that is always looking for ways to create a more streamlined process, to better serve both my company and our vendors. I recognize that it takes every employee working together in order to make a business run smoothly. The more we understand what our coworkers do, the more we can accomplish. While my positions were in the Accounting department, I enjoyed working with every department within an organization. In my prior company, with the aid of the Purchasing and Receiving departments, we had begun holding meetings to instill best practice procedures from the point of purchase, to receiving, through to accounting. This process was done so everyone knew how each process connected and ultimately the effects their actions had on the next in the process.
