About Amber Cornett

Hello! I am an Art Director with over 10 years of experience in graphic design and account/project management. I have worked for book publishers, print companies, and design agencies. The most important thing I’ve learned along the way is that relationships and team building is the most important part of any design challenge. You will always find me with a coffee in my hand and a pop culture podcast in my earbuds! I moved with my Great Dane to the Denver area from Alabama in 2021, something I had been dreaming of doing for a very long time. In 2019 I became the Cofounder of Design Week Huntsville. This week-long series of workshops and speaking events is the first event of it’s kind in North Alabama. My cofounder and I bonded over a love of attending design conferences, but we always needed to travel to get to them. Design Week Huntsville is what became of our wish to have a conference-type event in our own city. I graduated from Troy University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing.
