As a Risk and Compliance Specialist at Ready Computing, I lead initiatives that strengthen and mature our Enterprise Risk and Compliance Program. Partnering closely with all levels of the organization, I drive the development and execution of operational processes that align with internal policy and external standards, including ISO 9001, ISO/IEC and 27001, CMMI, HIPAA, NIST CSF, GDPR, and U.S. Privacy regulations. My work focuses on building and optimizing risk management systems, internal audit readiness, policy development, and management system operations. I lead initiatives that drive operational compliance, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring our organization meets rigorous regulatory and industry standards and advancing compliance with complex frameworks, most recently, through our HITRUST i1 and r2 audit preparation, to ensure conformance across the business. I bring a strategic lens to risk, enabling informed decision-making at the leadership level, and help embed risk-aware thinking across teams. Whether guiding policy development, facilitating leadership reviews, or supporting client security assessments, my approach is centered on governance excellence, continuous improvement, and enabling sustainable growth. Occupational Health & Safety Compliance In this role, I led initiatives to ensure organizational compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, with a focus on mitigating risk and preventing workplace incidents. I developed and implemented safety policies, conducted risk assessments and job hazard analyses, and directed accident investigations. Additionally, I facilitated staff training, maintained detailed inspection records, and enforced proactive safety measures, ensuring alignment with current laws, industry standards, and best practices. Early Career Experience – Human Resources, Talent Acquisition & Operations Early in my career, I held dual-focused roles that blended human resources strategy with operational leadership. As General Manager at HCT, I oversaw all aspects of business operations, including staff management, training, payroll, and regulatory compliance, while driving initiatives that improved service quality, employee performance, and profitability. Prior to that, I served as a healthcare recruiter, where I led end-to-end talent acquisition, developed candidate marketing strategies, and ensured adherence to complex healthcare regulations. These experiences sharpened my ability to lead teams, navigate compliance, and cultivate high-performing, people-first environments.
