Background
About Amber Demers
I have over 10 years of experience working in social services, coaching and employment services. Currently, I have entered the world of student affairs where I work as an Academic Advisor for the School of Justice and Fitness along with the School of Academic and Liberal studies. In this role, I work with a variety of students to assist with course recovery, program planning, referral to resources and collaboration to work towards a common goal of student success. I am deeply passionate about learning and education which is shown through my work with the students of Niagara College and my continuous engagement in professional development studies. If you catch me outside of work, I enjoy travelling, volunteering in my community, spending time with my family and working towards my master's degree!
