About Amber Elliott

I am passionate about helping businesses thrive through strong marketing campaigns and creative development strategies. My unique background in marketing, economic development, and entrepreneurship allows me to thoroughly look at and understand businesses' pain points and develop creative growth strategies to not only alleviate these problems but create new opportunities for the business, allowing them to thrive in never before seen ways. Although I love selling brands, I hate selling myself. So here’s just a quick few things about me and my work-I love connection! Connecting with like minded-individuals and go-getter entrepreneurs to develop partnerships that not only grow our businesses but the community as a whole and fill gaps in our local area-I’ve always been creative with a million different new ideas running through my mind and love using this creativity to develop strategic new approaches to solving various problems-I love learning about new technology and diving into how I can leverage different services. I am currently working through a LinkedIn Learning course on Adobe Illustrator so I can find a better way to bring my creative visions to life-I’ve recently had the chance to speak at a few different conferences and share my knowledge with a variety of business owners and marketing professionals across Ontario and am hoping to do more of this. I have a big passion for sharing my knowledge and helping business owners achieve their unique goals in any way I can-I stumbled into entrepreneurship after having applied for an accounting assistant position straight out of University and not getting that job but instead being contacted back about helping one of their clients with her social media marketing. I then started my part time gig of Social Media Management and have been doing this on the side for over four years now-I had the amazing opportunity of helping 10 different businesses receive each in grant funding through the My Main Street program. I was so happy to be a part of this program and was actually recognized for my excellence as I was continually among the top 3 out of 65 ambassadors in my cohort.
