About Amber Gray

I am a Junior at Trinity College, Hartford CT, who is passionate in the study of Religion as well as Public Policy and Law, with interests outside of my majors ranging from social activism and advocacy work to constitutional legalism. I possess skills in spreadsheet creation and data organization, communication, team organization, leadership, conflict management, creativity and interpersonal relations. I am an avid writer, both creatively and professionally, and have been published in various publications as well as awarded for my works. I have taken 2 College Semesters of Spanish, and am conversationally fluent in the language at an early intermediate level. I am also a Trinity College Humanities Gateway Program graduate. In this program, my classmates and I explored various topics in the academic areas of the classics, religion, literature and social issues. In the Summer of 2023, I worked as a researcher with Dr. Gabriel Hornung of the Trinity College Religious Studies Department, where I delved into the understanding of the Biblical story of David, its creation, its legacy and importantly, the debate over whether it is a historical telling of actual events, or a piece of literature designed to communicate a plot, or somewhere in between. I am a member of various student organizations and am on the E-Board for the Trinity College Fencing Team and DND club, and I am also an Employee of the Trinity College Queer Resource Center and Trinity College Chapel Singers, and an active member with the Trinity College Pre-Law Society. In the Summer of 2024, I interned with Innocence Project Delaware, and my work constituted various investigative and research matters on a number of cases the project has taken or intends to take. I worked extensively with my coworkers and bosses, and was able to attend Prison Visits, Court Visits and much more! After my undergraduate education, I strive to attend law school, to further my career in the realm of law.
