About Amber Gray

My favorite thing on this planet, hands down? People.Choosing careers that cater to and indulge me in the presence of people has been paramount in my journey. Starting off as a server in the restaurant industry, I garnered a huge admiration of the massive scope of personalities my hometown of Tallahassee, FL, has to offer. I love serving people. I love the opportunity to see the world through so many different eyes. I love helping others. Armed with 12 years of serving people, I wanted this love to bleed into my forever career. For me, there was one obvious answer: Health care. Now I’ll be honest with you, my biggest weakness lies in my stomach. I knew there was no way I could be on the front line clinically saving lives, so I embarked on a search for other ways to satiate this desire. I landed on health care administration’s doorstep with an eager heart and an open mind. I earned a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on leadership, but my thirst for knowledge was far from satisfied. This led me to my current endeavor: a masters degree in the same field of health care administration. While in undergrad, I applied for a job within the radiology department at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. The hustle and bustle of a busy environment felt right at home with my experience of the restaurant industry. I immediately knew this was my calling. My current position as the imaging department’s QA Specialist has allowed me to learn skills such as data analysis and reporting, accreditation requirements, auditing, leadership tactics and a plethora of others. I am so excited to continue growing and learning, both professionally and personally.
