About Amber Herfurth

Long ago, in a lifetime far far away, I received my BA in musical theater. Since then (2012), I steadily remained in the service industry, working my way up the ranks from host to server to barback to bartender. Being in this industry for 10+ years lead me to interact with all different kinds of people and situations under the sun. Need a topic to discuss for a blind date? I got it. Happily have discussions about food or drink while nonchalantly up-selling? Let’s talk about it. Handle crowds and multitask in a fast paced chaotic environment? No problem. And if you think all 5’2 of me hasn’t stood between two full grown men during a screaming match to try and diffuse the situation, you’d be wrong. Done and diffused. But now I am a new mom of a 7 month old and that is a life I no longer want to return to. I’m looking for connections I can make virtually and/or over the phone so I can provide for my family while staying at home with them. I want to challenge myself and test my coveted ability to multitask in a new way.I look forward to whatever new adventure life has to offer me and learning all I possibly can along the way!Random facts about me: love climbing trees, certified to teach vinyasa and prenatal yoga, delicious food is very important to me, animals are everything, can type 60 WPM with 98% accuracy (Mavis Beacon was the best), I’m from Santa Cruz aka the beach, I attend the Renaissance Faire every year, deep love of books, huge history nerd, two of my favorite hobbies are archery and camping, and for my quarantine hobby I learned how to do sutures.
