About Amber Hoffart

Hi! I'm Amber. I'm an empathetic and attentive professional working in front-line community social services. I work closely with the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development on child-protection issues. As you may see from my educational and work background, I have experience in the corporate world in Human Resources, Marketing, and Administration. While I didn't find my fit in that space, it provided me with experiences and context to follow my heart toward what I'm truly passionate about- mental health, psychology, and helping others. Through my current role, I have grown a deep interest in child and adolescent psychology, development, and well-being. In my free time, I love to dance, cook new dishes, and explore the vibrant culture of Vancouver's food and art scene! Some social causes I am passionate about include: Mental Health Advocacy, Indigenous Rights and Reconciliation, Women's Issues, and LGBTQ+ Rights.
