This outdated approach often leaves patients feeling frustrated, ashamed, and bewildered in their quest for healing. It doesn’t account for new science, or for the role of stress in illness and aging.It’s time to embrace a fresh medical paradigm - preventative medicine, holistic understanding of the mind/body interactions, and an emphasis on neuropsychology as proactive healthcare. I’m Dr Amber Johnston, an accomplished Clinical Psychologist, Neuropsychologist and Pain Psychologist with trauma specialty.
