About Amber Lindorfer

I have worked in many settings, but I prefer to work in the health care/ residential care field setting. Helping those in need is very rewarding and I enjoy it. I currently work with many different types of clients. I really enjoy working with people who experience autism. They help me to challenge myself each day. I complete managerial work in this health care setting as well as directly with the residents. I can type 120 words per minute and I am very efficient at clerical administrative work. I enjoy advocating for the mentally disabled population as well as help them to be independent in daily living and becoming more integrated into the community. I am always looking for ways to better serve the individuals I work with. Someday I would like to open up my own group home. I currently manage a group home which I very much enjoy. I enjoy the administrative part about health care as well as direct care. I plan to advance in the health care profession whether it be in mental health, developmental disabilities, psychology, or administration. The more knowledge I gain, the better administrator I can be. In the past I have worked in health care, education, sales, jewelry and retail. I enjoyed learning about the aspects of each job and all the knowledge that came with each one.
