About Amber Pate

Hello! My name is Amber and I am Training and Communications Specialist. I have more than six years of experience in maximizing employee performance by identifying training needs, creating documentation and conducting in person and virtual training sessions for the needs of specific teams. I am very organized, a fast learner, work well independently as well as on a team, and have a desire to continue learning. In my first official role as a trainer (and the first trainer assigned to the reimbursement department at US Bioservices) I created the training program for the collections team before tackling the beginning of creating the training program for the billing department. This training involved working in a Citrix platforms called Patient Plus along with role based training. I also conducted new hire orientation for new associates and training for current associates. I have also trained at an MSP (part of the implementation team)on VMS platforms such as Beeline, Fieldglass and e-volution. This involved creating slide decks, staging and training on the assigned VMS, and creating QRGs/job aids/communications documents for the external client, internal colleagues and Suppliers. During my time in a call center environment I verified insurance benefits for medical devices on a Citrix platform (Theracall), mentored new associates, audited benefit verifications (documentation and calls in the NICE system for denied claims and to monitor the progress of new associates), side by side shadowing/training on calls, interviewed and supervised temporary associates during the re-verification season, updated and created training materials, assisted provider’s offices with appealing denied claims and worked with our client’s sales team. I have also worked in a collections capacity for correcting and appealing denied pbm claims. I also have experience as an interim supervisor for the recertification season on the PANF team. We supervised contract associates, approved time sheets in Fieldglass and helped with training in Patient Plus (Citrix platforms).
