About Amber Rinker

Throughout the years I have been involved in numerous things, be it competitions, work, or volunteering. I enjoy putting myself out there and being able to help in as many ways as I can. Some of the volunteering that I have been involved in would include: Hessed house volunteer, Maple Brook fair volunteer, Community impact gardens volunteer, and SpringHill volunteer, to name a few. I've enjoyed all the memories and experiences I've gained through doing these things. All of my work experience would be through businesses that I have been putting together. Currently, I have two, Amber Stones, where I paint mandala primarily on rocks and sell online or in-person, and Amber Oasis, which is a professional organizing business. Though the businesses are still developing in some ways I have had 3 clients for Amber Oasis, one of them being a house I decluttered, Cleaned, Staged, and got ready to sell, which it did. I have also had people by my painted stones and had someone once place an order of 20. My third business which I hope to continue in would be the production of a new fun outdoor game product. I and my team of three are working on bringing this product to life in our Business INC class, with the help of our teacher, and mentors. In addition to my volunteering and work, I am also involved in some competitive teams. One being my High school gymnastics team, and the other is the Naper Valley Science Olympiad team of which I am the team captain for the year 2020. Through my science team, we have won continuous spirit awards and I myself have won several medals. My highest is a 2nd for Forensics at regionals and 5th for herpetology at State.
