About Amber Roth

10+ years of experience as a wardrobe and prop stylist for print magazines and commercials/advertising in New York and LA. Moved to Los Angeles in 2011 and Co-founded The Other House, a boutique production studio based in LA and Portland. There I lead the production design department and manage our operations and accounts. The Other House has moved all offices to Portland and we currently specialize in Broadcast Design and motion graphics. I styled and planned my own wedding in 2014 and made a move into the Portland wedding industry. I worked as an Event Designer at Something Borrowed PDX for 3 years. In fall of 2018, I helped open Gather Events Portland where I currently work as an Event Designer and Planner. I love how planning and designing weddings incorporates my design and organizational skills and styling the "best day of someone's life" is truly fulfilling! I am an avid and experienced gardener in my "spare time". In 2020, while work was on hiatus, I studied Permaculture Design at Oregon State University. I'm excited to explore this path more and continue learning about sustainability, environmental justice and food production.
