About Amber Schroeder

I have a love for all the ways we communicate. In high school I was part of Competitive Speech, Theater, One Act Competition, Book Club, and National Honor Society; and was able to be a Captin/ Leader of each. I enjoyed being a part of these activities because they taught and showed me different ways we are able to communicate. In Theater, One Acts, and Speech I was taught the ways I was able to communicate to small and large groups with just my body and my voice. I learned just how impact the actions of one person can have. These activities were a place that I would share my voice and the stories of many others to the masses. Being part of Book Club as well as in Art classes in my school showed me how we can communicate with others through solid objects. In books all types of stories are told to us by the authors through words on paper. In Art, the artist can tell us a feeling, tell a story, show a problem, and much more. Communication is such a large area, and that is why I enjoy it. No matter what you are doing, you are sending some sort of message. Communication has always existed, so being able to be a person who specializes in it is will always be helpful to fulfill the needs of those around them.
