About Amber Sun

For over 18 years Amber has focused on improving the built environment by designing and managing construction quality of environmentally conscious, efficient, and aestheticallypleasing projects in China and throughout Asia. As a principal and Studio Director in Gensler Shanghai Office, Amber manages the biggest team of architects and master-planners, and guides them through the successful delivery of projects that vary tremendously in scope and size: from urban design and master planning projects through mixed-used facilities and super high-rises, to commercial office buildings and headquarters campuses. Amber’s passion for innovative design combined with her experience in quality assurance make her a trusted advisor to clients and an invaluable mentor to her team. As the Shanghai office client relationship leader, Amber is in charge all key accounts and addressing strategic plans to develope BD/market in China. Amber is a registered Grade 1 Architect in China, and holds a Master's degree in Regional Economy from Beijing's Renmin University, and a B. Arch from the HuaZhong University of Science and Technology. Gensler
