As a Clinical Operations Director at Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc.(FREE), I oversee the clinical and administrative aspects of the NYSTART program that provides services and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and traumatic brain injuries.I have a Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University School of Social Welfare, where I specialized in community health and policy. I have 8 years of experience in the social work profession, working as a case manager, a teaching assistant, and a crisis intervention specialist. I have developed skills in problem solving, clinical leadership, caseload management, advocacy, therapeutic interventions, and cultural competency. I am passionate about empowering individuals and communities, advocating for social justice, and fostering positive change.
