I was born in rural Illinois, but raised in Gilbert, Arizona, graduating magna cum laude from Arizona State University’s Business & Honors Colleges with a Major in Finance and Minor in Spanish.I studied the Spanish language and Mexican culture at the Universidad Internacional’s Center for Bilingual Multicultural Studies in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I earned her Masters of Accounting and Financial Management with an emphasis on Fraud Examination from DeVry’s Keller School of Management in 2007. I lam an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and I am currently studying to earn the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification. I love being active in my community, having previously served on the Board of Trustees for the Arizona Center for Nature Conservation (The Phoenix Zoo) and the Southwest division of the American Diabetes Association Community Leadership Board.
